Hey! I’m Sara, the founder of Campering Around. I am on a long-term adventure around the US with my dog, Tonto, and my camper.

Our adventure includes lots of hiking, national parks, roadside attractions, food (because a girl’s gotta eat), and friends and family along the way.

I work remotely, full-time creating and facilitating trainings for a SAAS. I have renovated my camper to have a workstation, but Tonto and I spend most of our time outside. Have you seen outside? It’s beautiful. Highly recommend.

I am setting out to see and experience as much as I can. I am a bit of a National Parks nerd, I love to travel, and I want to enjoy life, however that makes sense to me. Right now, that means traveling.

I am a newbie RVer, so there will be mishaps along the way. BUT, I am also a damn good researcher and planner, so hopefully those will be minimal. This whole thing is a learning experience, and I plan to soak it up.

As I have gone about planning and preparing for this adventure, many folks I talked have asked how they can follow along, keep in touch, and stay up to date on what I am doing. Hence…. Why you are here, hopefully. I figured this blog was a good way for family, old friends, and new friends to see and read about my adventures.
